Former Crystal Palace manager, Patrick Vieira, is in talks to become the head coach of Senegal’s football national team.
As reported by Foot Mercato (via Fabrizio Romano), conversations are currently taking place for the Frenchman to replace Pape Thiaw as the Teranga Lions manager.
The report also added that the process remains at an early stage and no agreement has been reached yet.
The Senegalese Football Federation has expressed an interest in the Arsenal legend, who has coached Strasbourg, Nice and Genoa, for the vacant team head coach position.
This comes after Senegal recently parted ways with Thiaw after he led the team to the Round of 32 stage at the World Cup, where they were eliminated by Belgium.
