A Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the Shira/Giade Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Zaraddeen Aminu, has flagged off the construction of a two-kilometre road in Zirami, Giade Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The candidate said the project demonstrated his governance commitment to delivering development even before assuming public office, promising to complete the road and expand similar interventions across the constituency if elected.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony on Tuesday, Aminu said the PDP had a long-standing reputation for executing developmental projects, insisting that infrastructure delivery remained one of the party’s defining attributes.
“What I want to emphasise to our people in Shira and Giade is that the PDP is known for projects like this. I will be surprised if people see it as something new. Whoever has witnessed developmental projects in this country knows the PDP largely executed them,” he said.
