PHOTOS: Shettima studying during two-week leave

Vice President Kashim Shettima has begun his two-week leave with reading and reflection, in what the Presidency described as an opportunity to deepen his knowledge for continued service to Nigeria.

Photographs shared on Monday showed the Vice President browsing through books during his break from official duties.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications in the Office of the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, described the period as “a time to read, reflect, and learn.”

“As predicted by many, during his two-week leave, Vice President Kashim Shettima, by custom, takes time for study and reflection,” Nkwocha said.

According to him, stepping away from the demands of daily responsibilities creates room to examine ideas more carefully and return to duty with greater clarity.
