Actress and content creator, Motunde Sogunle, popularly known for playing Motunde, the fictional daughter of social media skit maker, Mr Macaroni, has said the role has opened many doors for her career.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, when asked if playing the character had made it difficult for people to discover her acting range, Sogunle said the popularity of Motunde had been both a blessing and a challenge.
“I think that’s the blessing and the challenge of playing a character that people genuinely love. Motunde has opened so many doors for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. But yes, sometimes people see the comedy first and forget that I’m a trained actor.
