At least four suspected members of the Aiye Confraternity cult group were arrested in Mushin and Aganran by Ojuwoye by the Lagos State Police Command on Sunday.
The spokesperson for the command, Abimbola Adebisi, in a statement on Sunday, disclosed that the arrest further led to the recovery of a locally made Beretta pistol and 9mm live ammunition.
The suspects were identified as Irawo Moshod; Abayomi James, 29; Farouq Bankole, 28; and Steven Sunday, 19.
The police said Moshod was initially arrested and, during interrogation, allegedly admitted to being a former chairman of the Aiye Confraternity cult group.
He was also said to have made useful disclosures about the activities of the group, including his alleged involvement in several killings in Mushin and other parts of Lagos State.
