The first pope born in the USA has been particularly present during the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
On Friday evening, Pope Leo connected via livestream to a ceremony in which he was awarded the Liberty Medal. The next day, July 4th, a papal letter to the USA for its 250th anniversary was released.
