Prateek Suri’s Windsor appearance sparks speculation

Billionaire entrepreneur and investor, Prateek Suri, has sparked speculation about a possible expansion of his investment portfolio into the equestrian sector after he was spotted at the 2026 horse racing fixtures at Windsor Racecourse in the United Kingdom.

Suri, the founder of Maser Group and venture capital firm MDR Investment, was seen at the prestigious racing venue interacting with bloodstock agents, racehorse trainers and horse owners, fuelling industry speculation that he could be preparing to deepen his involvement in the global horse racing business.

The Dubai-based businessman, who built his fortune in the consumer electronics industry before diversifying into venture capital, mining and oil investments, has in recent years been linked with investments in thoroughbred bloodlines and equestrian infrastructure across Europe and Africa.

His appearance at Windsor has prompted observers to suggest that horse racing and polo may be the latest sectors targeted as part of his broader investment diversification
