President Bola Tinubu has approved three new appointments across federal establishments, bringing in former lawmakers to lead key positions in the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA) and the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC).
The development was made public in a statement released on Friday evening, June 26, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, with all postings taking immediate effect.
Under the new directives, Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas has been designated as the new Director General of the Border Communities Development Agency.
Namdas, a seasoned journalist and public relations expert, previously served as the Chief Press Secretary to the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna. He was also a member of the 8th House of Representatives where he served as the chamber’s official spokesperson.
