The Redeemed Christian Church of God has ordained 2,820 candidates as full pastors, alongside 11,830 deacons and deaconesses and 5,977 assistant pastors, as the church concluded its 74th Annual Convention.
The figures were disclosed on Sunday by the church’s Holy Ghost Service account on Instagram during the convention held at Redemption City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
The church said 2,820 candidates were ordained into the office of full pastor during the week-long convention.
According to the church, the office of full pastor is the highest pastoral office in the RCCG, noting that even the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is a full pastor.
