Real Madrid have reached an agreement in principle with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande, with the 19-year-old already having personal terms in place on a five-year contract.
According to sports broadcaster Ben Jacobs, who disclosed the update via his X handle on Sunday, he said, “Real Madrid reach an agreement in principle with Leipzig for Yan Diomande. Player already has terms in place on a five-year contract.”
The Spanish giants and Leipzig have agreed a deal in principle for the highly rated teenager, who already has personal terms in place on a five-year contract that would keep him at the Santiago Bernabéu until 2031.
Diomande, who was born in Abidjan on November 14, 2006, joined Leipzig from Spanish side Leganés and impressed during his debut Bundesliga campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing several assists in 33 league appearances.
