The forest area in Oyorokoto town jutting into the Atlantic Ocean in Rivers State has received huge attention, as the State and Federal Governments have signed a deal to develop the beach in the area.

The forest is known to contain elephants and other wildlife treasures, which have featured on the internet frequently.

Thus, Governor Sim Fubara has reaffirmed his commitment towards the speedy execution of the Oyorokoto Beach Resort project, pledging to ensure that it is fully developed to make Rivers State a tourism hub in Nigeria.

Governor Fubara made the pledge on Monday at Government House, Port Harcourt during a ceremony where the Federal and Rivers State Governments signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance the Renewed Hope
