Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), says the administration of President Bola Tinubu is increasingly being defined by scandals rather than governance.
In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, his senior special assistant on public communication, Atiku said the controversy surrounding the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) reflects “a pattern of unresolved scandals” under the current administration.
The former vice-president said Nigerians were beginning to see controversies not as isolated incidents but as recurring features of the Tinubu administration.
“There is an old African saying that when a man’s roof leaks every rainy season, neighbours stop blaming the clouds and begin to question the strength of the house itself,” he said.
