Applying for a United States visa does not guarantee approval, as every application is assessed based on requirements established under U.S. immigration law.

According to the U.S. Department of State in a blogpost on its website sighted on Saturday , visa applicants are generally required to attend an interview with a consular officer at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate, where their eligibility is assessed before a decision is made.
