Chairman of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Dr Mohammed Shehu; former Minister of Industry, Chief Dr Onikepo Akande; Founder of Channels Media Group, Dr John Momoh and Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Adua were among prominent Nigerians honoured at an international leadership and academic ceremony in London, United Kingdom.
The Nigerians were among public officials, business executives, academics, diplomats, media proprietors and professionals from several countries recognised at the 2026 Honorary Doctorate and Distinguished Fellows Conferral Ceremony organised by the EuroKnowledge Institute in partnership with Richmond College, United Kingdom.
The ceremony was held on July 17 at One Great George Street, Westminster, London, bringing together participants from Africa, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
Other recipients of honorary doctorate awards included former United Kingdom Minister of State for Trade Policy, Sir Conor Burns; Executive Group Chairman of KGL Group, Ghana, Alex Apau Dadey; Founder and President of Focus Initiatives
