The senatorial candidate for the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in Oyo North, Hon. Shina Peller, is poised to inaugurate a free healthcare initiative for residents of the senatorial district on Friday, October 23. This effort aims to enhance access to medical services in the region.
Dubbed the Pellercare 360 Community Impact Tour, the program is set to reach all 13 local government areas (LGAs) within the district, offering residents free medical consultations, screenings, treatments, and prescribed medications.
This initiative, spearheaded by Peller, who holds the title of Ayedero of Yorubaland, carries the theme, “Alaafia De Ile Wa.”
A statement from Kola Popoola, Chief Press Secretary in the Office of Hon. Shina Peller, indicates that the program aims to fill the gaps in rural healthcare delivery by bringing medical staff, diagnostic tools, and treatment services to underserved communities.
The first phase of the initiative is set to commence on Friday at Ojude.
