A solar power company, Kartel Energy Limited, has announced training more than 1,000 solar industry professionals across six Nigerian cities as part of efforts to strengthen technical capacity in Nigeria’s growing renewable energy sector.
The company disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, noting that the training was conducted through the second edition of its 2026 Technical Masterclass, which was held in Benin City, Kaduna, Kano, Abuja, Ibadan and Asaba between 14 May and 25 June.
According to the statement, the programme brought together solar installers, technicians, engineers, dealers, distributors, entrepreneurs and renewable energy enthusiasts for sessions on solar technologies, installation standards and business development.
It added that this year’s edition focused on high-voltage solar systems, with participants receiving training on their applications, installation requirements and commercial opportunities.
