Companies in the United Kingdom (UK) with licences to sponsor work visas are actively recruiting skilled migrants in in-demand roles.
These companies are recruiting with an average salary of £57,580.6 per year including work visa sponsorship, despite the drop in jobs with sponsorship licence.
According to gov.uk, the UK granted 168,471 work visas to main applicants in the year ending December 2025, a 19 percent decline from the previous year and 50 percent lower than the peak recorded in 2023.

The drop in visa grants was mainly driven by a sharp reduction in applications, which fell from 228,917 in 2023 to 55,704 in 2025, alongside a rise in refusal rates from 7 percent to 19 percent over the same period. Meanwhile, Temporary Worker visas, particularly for Seasonal Workers and the Youth Mobility Scheme, remained stable after increasing following the pandemic
