Tinubu Appoints Fayose as REA Chairman, Names 25 Others to Federal Agencies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose as Chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).  

  

 The President also approved the appointment of 25 other individuals into various positions across 10 federal government agencies and commissions, according to a statement issued on Monday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Fayose will chair the REA board, alongside members and non-executive directors Alhaji Ahmadu Abubakar and Engineer Ilyasu Ibrahim Makinta. 

The agency’s incumbent Director-General, Abba Abubakar Aliyu, and previously appointed executive directors complete the board.  

  

Other key appointments include:National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission: Maj. General Bindawa (Chairman), with Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas (Secretary), and commissioners Dr Ogbole Ene Lilian (Benue), Oladele Olatubosun (Oyo), Yakubu Umar Barde (Kaduna), Dr Mai Adamu Yau (Borno), Ginika Florence Tor (Enugu), Engineer Lawrence Okoh (Edo), and Bello Morenike Iyabode (Kogi).
