Tinubu flags off N216.7bn Osun road projects, orders contractors to mobilise

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, flagged off the construction of the 82-kilometre Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan Road and the reconstruction of the 44 km by 2 Gbongan-Osogbo Road in Osun State, saying the projects aimed at enhancing connectivity, improving road safety, and stimulating socio-economic activities.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony in Osogbo, President Tinubu said the projects, being executed under the Renewed Hope Agenda, would connect communities, unlock economic opportunities and restore public confidence in public infrastructure.

The President, who was represented by Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, said, “flagging off these road projects mark a clear commitment, to connect our people, to unlock opportunities, and to restore confidence in public infrastructure.
