Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, has endorsed the position of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), that President Bola Tinubu has done his best in tackling insecurity.
Obi made the remarks during a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, which was uploaded on YouTube on Thursday.
He was responding to questions about his continued political ambition and why Nigerians should support him.
Reacting to Adeboye’s recent comments on the security situation, Obi said the revered cleric was correct in stating that the President had tried his best.
“Pastor Adeboye remains a very revered, respected religious father, whom I believe in his genuineness and goodness. And what he said was correct. He said he has tried his best. He’s trying his best. That’s it. It’s the correct answer,” Obi stated.
