Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has assured that President Bola Tinubu and the country’s security agencies are working relentlessly to address insecurity, particularly terrorism and kidnapping.
The First Lady made the remarks on Tuesday during a courtesy visit by the Ambassador of Qatar to Nigeria, Yousef Bin Hassan Al-Hail, and the embassy’s Consul, Mr. Khalifa Al-Khalifa.
Mrs. Tinubu emphasised that Nigeria remains a vast and beautiful country blessed with peaceful, friendly, and patriotic citizens. She acknowledged terrorism and kidnapping as the primary security challenges but expressed confidence in ongoing efforts to overcome them.
“The President is doing everything possible, alongside members of the armed forces, to tackle these challenges,” she said. “We are hopeful. We believe Nigeria will be great in our time and will take its rightful place among the comity of nations.”
She also encouraged young Nigerians to explore the country’s rich cultural and natural attractions through tourism, which she described
