Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has called on residents to deliver 98 percent of their votes to President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, citing the president’s consistent support for infrastructure and development projects in the state.
Speaking on Saturday during the flag-off of 11 road projects in Zaria and Sabon Gari Local Government Areas, Sani highlighted Tinubu’s role in facilitating key federal initiatives, including the proposed ₦1 trillion Kaduna light rail project, which is set to commence within two months.
Contractors, he said, have already been mobilised.The governor also announced that the groundbreaking for the Mando–Birnin Gwari road project would take place within a week, noting that the president had approved over ₦100 billion for its execution.
Sani attributed these federal investments to the support his administration and the presidency have received from Kaduna residents, urging them to reciprocate by backing Tinubu’s re-election.
