Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has announced her separation from her husband, Bobby Maris, revealing a marital crisis after eight years of their marriage.
On her Instagram story, she said she was tired of the ‘princess’ who married her, noting that she had given him 8 years of her life. She questioned whether it would be when she is 6 feet under before the crown of thorns would fit her well.
Ogbodo questioned why it is taboo for a woman to say she is tired in her marriage. She questioned what her offence was in wanting to be happy.
“For person to tire for marriage now nah taboo because nah woman? Must it always be man must taya? My tayad is tayad! I am tayad of the Princess wey dey marry me. What is wrong with that? To be happy as a woman in marriage, nah by connection in this country!
