The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), has commended the collaboration between the Federal and Bauchi State Governments which has significantly improved the health of women and children.
The commendation was made by the Chief of Field (CFO), Bauchi Field of Office (BFO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Dr Nuzhat Raffique, in her remarks on behalf of donor agencies and international partners at the flagging off of distribution of Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (CEmONC) equipment by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Mohammed Ali Pate supported by the Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed at the premises of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi. and UNICEF at the auspicious occasion of distribution of medical equipment.
