The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has condemned the recent killings in the country declaring that he would pray against those responsible rather than pray for them.
Oyedepo spoke during a church service following the July 27, 2026, attack in which gunmen reportedly killed at least 30 people, including women and children in Kaduna.
The cleric described the perpetrators and their alleged sponsors as “destructive agents,” insisting that judgment awaited them.
“Woe to all destructive agents in Nigeria. Whether in power or out of power, judgement has finally come,” he said.
Rejecting calls for prayers on behalf of the attackers, Oyedepo said, “You can’t slaughter members of my family and want me to pray for you. I pray against you, against your household, against your generation, in the name of Jesus.”
He also alleged that the attackers were being sponsored.
