Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade says that the team is firmly focused on maintaining their status as the best team in Africa, DAILY POST reports.

The Super Falcons won a record-extending 10th title at the last edition of the competition, rallying to beat Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses 3-2 in a thrilling final.
The West Africans are aiming to successfully defend their title, and earn a berth at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
Ajibade declared that the players are ready to go all the way in the tournament.
“The team’s spirit is high. Everyone is fully focused. We know why we’re here and we are ready to take things one step at a time.
“So we’re 100 per cent ready,” Ajibade told a press conference in Rabat.
The Super Falcons will begin their title against the Scorchers of Malawi at Al Madina Stadium, Rabat on Tuesday night.
