Zambia forward, Rachael Kundananji, has declared her team’s readiness for the crucial Group C encounter against defending champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria.

The Copper Queens started their campaign on an impressive note, thrashing the Cleopatras of Egypt 6-0.

Nigeria on the other hand suffered a shocking 3-2 defeat to debutants Malawi.

The Super Falcons will be desperate to secure maximum points against Zambia to get their campaign back on track.

Victory will ensure Zambia’s passage to the quarter-finals.

Kundananji reckoned beating the Super Falcons will be tough for the Copper Queens but is confident they can prevail over Justine Madugu’s side.

“We understand it’s not an easy task, it’s the game that will determine both team’s fate, it’s the game that will make everything easy or tough. It won’t be an easy game and we are just looking forward to doing our best,’ Kundananji told reporters.

Tonight’s encounter encounter is slated for the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat. It will kick-off at 9pm Nigeria time.
