President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday received the newly inaugurated President of the Republic of Benin, His Excellency Romuald Wadagni, at his private residence in Lagos.
The Beninese leader arrived in Nigeria on a visit, following his oath of office on May 24.
Wadagni, a 49-year-old economist and former finance minister, recently succeeded his former boss, Patrice Talon, following his victory in the country’s April presidential election.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian leader earlier on Monday attended the International Fleet Review at Eko Atlantic in celebration of the Nigerian Navy’s 70th anniversary.
