
Traditional rulers from Osun West Senatorial District have commended President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, over the approval of the reconstruction of the 90.9-kilometre Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan Road.
The monarchs described the project as a landmark intervention that would boost economic activities, improve transportation, and enhance the socio-economic development of communities along the corridor.
The royal fathers conveyed their appreciation in a letter addressed to Tinubu on Monday.
The letter was presented to Oyetola at his country home in Iragbiji, Osun State, for onward delivery to the President.
Led by the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdurasheed Adewale Akanbi, the monarchs praised the President for approving the strategic road project, which they said demonstrated his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and inclusive governance.
