Ex-Minister Nnaji Refutes Report of Court-Ordered Arrest Over Certificate Forgery

Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, has denied reports claiming he is under investigation or that a court ordered his arrest over alleged certificate forgery.

Nnaji, who is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 elections in Enugu State, described the reports as “false and misleading”, alleging that they were part of a campaign to damage his reputation.

In a statement on Monday signed by his spokesperson, Dr. Robert Ngwu, Nnaji insisted that he is neither in hiding nor under investigation by any law enforcement agency.

He also maintained that neither he nor his legal team has received any invitation, summons, warrant, or correspondence from the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
