
The Chairman of the Governing Council of the Bayelsa Multi-Door Courthouse, King Collins Daniel, has scored the alternative dispute resolution body 85 per cent success rate in the last one year.
He added that the specialised institution established to facilitate amicable dispute resolution has consistently been providing citizens, businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders with less adversarial and more efficient mechanisms for settling conflicts.
This was disclosed on Wednesday at the media parley on the forthcoming second Stakeholders’ Sensitisation Conference on the Bayelsa Multi-Door Courthouse.
Daniel who is also the chairman of the organising committee of the conference said, “The maiden conference attracted wide participation from members of the Bench and Bar, the business community, traditional rulers, government institutions, civil society organisations, and other critical stakeholders in the justice sector.
