
The National Association of Nigerian Students has launched a new initiative, the Constituency Scholarship and Talent Development Scheme, aimed at expanding access to education, mentorship, and international exposure for Nigerian students.
In a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja on Monday, the association said the programme would provide scholarships and talent development opportunities through strategic partnerships with members of the National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly.
Speaking on the initiative, NANS President, Babatunde Akinteye, popularly known as Babtee, described the scheme as a significant step towards bridging the gap between Nigerian students and access to quality education and global opportunities.
According to him, the programme goes beyond awarding scholarships, as it is designed to create sustainable pathways for academic and career advancement.
