The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has attributed the party’s victories in the Ekiti State governorship election and several bye-elections across the country to voters’ appreciation of good performance and governance.

In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser, Abimbola Tooki, Yilwatda described Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election as a resounding endorsement of visionary leadership, prudent resource management, and tangible development in Ekiti State.

“The overwhelming victory recorded by our great party in Ekiti State and our remarkable success in the bye-elections across the country represent a powerful endorsement of the APC’s governance philosophy,” the statement read.

Yilwatda said the results show that Nigerians can distinguish between temporary economic challenges from ongoing reforms and the long-term benefits of responsible governance, infrastructure development, and institutional renewal.

He added: “The people of Ekiti State have once again demonstrated that performance remains the most potent campaign message in democratic politics.
