
The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, and the party’s National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, have criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government in Ekiti State, accusing it of poor performance ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
The duo made the remarks on Thursday during the ADC mega rally in Ado-Ekiti in support of the party’s governorship candidate, Ambassador Dare Bejide.
Addressing party supporters, Mark urged Ekiti residents to vote for Bejide, describing the ADC as the credible alternative capable of transforming the state.
“Vote for our candidate, Dare Bejide, so that the Ekiti of your dreams can become a reality. Give your votes to the ADC,” he said.
He further urged residents to rally behind the party, insisting that Bejide and the ADC remained the best option to rescue the state from poverty and deliver good governance.
