The United States chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress has intensified calls for greater mobilisation of Nigerians in the diaspora, saying the support and influence of citizens living abroad will be crucial to the party’s fortunes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The chapter also commended recent efforts by the party leadership and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to foster unity among APC supporters abroad, describing the initiative as a strategic move capable of strengthening the party’s grassroots reach and international image.
In a statement on Thursday, the Chairman of the APC-USA and Special Adviser to the APC National Chairman on Mobilisation, Taiwo Balofin, praised the APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda.
He also commended the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hope Uzodimma, for championing unity among party members in the Diaspora.
