Three soldiers sustained injuries and were hospitalized after a military vehicle collided with a truck on the Abuja–Koton Karfe route in Kogi State.
The incident occurred on June 17 along the Jamata–Koton Karfe–Abuja road while the troops were on duty.
The soldiers, attached to the 12 Brigade deployed in the Pipeline area of Agboja, suffered minor injuries.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama shared details of the crash on X (formerly Twitter). The injured personnel were promptly transported to a medical facility, where they are receiving treatment and are reported to be in stable condition and responding well.
The military vehicle involved has been recovered and relocated to the Patrol Base in Gegu for assessment.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. No fatalities were recorded.
