Wetech and UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, Launch PitchHer Investment Readiness Program to Equip Nigerian Women Founders to Raise Capital

Wetech Women Foundation (Wetech), in partnership with UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, funded by the UK’s Government Digital Access Programme (DAP), has announced the launch of the PitchHer Investment Readiness Program a structured, eight-week programme designed to take 25 selected women founders across Nigeria from ā€œinterested in raisingā€ to ā€œready to raise.ā€ The programme will equip participants with the financial rigour, investor fluency, and pitch confidence to pursue capital from angels, venture capitalists, and financiers.

Made possible through Wetech partnership with UK-Nigeria Tech Hub,; the UK government’s flagship initiative connecting British and African tech ecosystems,  the programme opens a door that has historically been closed to too many women founders: access to world-class investment education, an active investor network, and a stage on which to be seen.

At the end of Week 6, six finalists will be selected through a live mock pitch panel to advance to Phase 2; two weeks of one-to-one
