Wetech and UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, Launch PitchHer Investment Readiness Program to Equip Nigerian Women Founders to Raise Capital

Wetech Women Foundation (Wetech), in partnership with UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, funded by the UK’s Government Digital Access Programme (DAP), has announced the launch of the PitchHer Investment Readiness Program a structured, eight-week programme designed to take 25 selected women founders across Nigeria from “interested in raising” to “ready to raise.” The programme will equip participants with the financial rigour, investor fluency, and pitch confidence to pursue capital from angels, venture capitalists, and financiers.

Made possible through Wetech partnership with UK-Nigeria Tech Hub,; the UK government’s flagship initiative connecting British and African tech ecosystems,  the programme opens a door that has historically been closed to too many women founders: access to world-class investment education, an active investor network, and a stage on which to be seen.

At the end of Week 6, six finalists will be selected through a live mock pitch panel to advance to Phase 2; two weeks of one-to-one
