Oluremi Tinubu Unveils Kidney Disease Clinic, Health-Tech Academy in Jigawa

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Monday launched a specialised health centre and a health technology academy in Hadejia, Jigawa State, to boost early detection and prevention of chronic kidney disease.  

  

 The Oluremi Tinubu Clinic, built and equipped by the FutureMap Foundation and eHealth Africa, is located on Garun Gabas Road in Hadejia. 

It is dedicated to serving vulnerable communities with a focus on kidney health.

The second project, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Academy, was established by the Federal Government through the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). 

It aims to train youths and health workers in the use of technology to address health challenges.Speaking at the inauguration, Senator Tinubu commended the partners for the initiatives.

“These facilities are dedicated to the early detection and prevention of chronic kidney disease, especially for our vulnerable people,” she said.
