The Imole Campaign Council, supporting Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election bid, has accused the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) of deploying violence, political thuggery, and voter intimidation ahead of the August 15, 2026 Osun State governorship election.
In an official press statement issued by campaign spokesman Pelumi Olajengbesio Esq., the group claimed that Osun voters are prepared to decisively reject the APC at the polls in response to these alleged actions.
The statement calls directly on the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), and other security apparatuses to intervene immediately. The council demanded the identification, dismantling, and prosecution of all criminal networks involved in political violence across the state to guarantee a peaceful, free, and credible electoral process.
