The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP) for the 2027 general elections is officially open.
This automated portal allows political parties to electronically upload the credentials and personal data of their nominated candidates.
The official portal infrastructure operates directly via the main INEC Nigeria Website.
Only the recognised National Chairmen and National Secretaries of registered political parties can receive the necessary secure access codes.

The portal is scheduled to close automatically on July 11, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted according to INEC.
Major parties like the APC, PDP, LP, ADC, and NDC have already received theirs.
