Jackson’s hit compilation album, The Essential Michael Jackson, has reclaimed the top spot after spending two weeks at No. 2. The album has now topped the streaming chart for six weeks. It has remained on the ranking for more than 200 weeks, highlighting the enduring popularity of his music among both longtime fans and a new generation of listeners.
The late music icon is also dominating the UK’s Official Soundtrack Albums Chart with Michael: Songs From the Motion Picture, the soundtrack to his blockbuster biopic. The album has now led the chart for nine of its 10 weeks, further boosting interest in Jackson’s legendary catalogue.
