NIGCOMSAT CEO recognised for revenue growth, digital transformation

Jane Egerton-Idehen, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT), has received the DTN@100 Enterprise Award in recognition of her role in driving revenue growth, digital transformation and operational reforms at the government-owned satellite company.

The award, presented by the Daily Times Nigeria @100 Celebration Organising Committee, followed a nomination and public voting process in which Egerton-Idehen received the highest number of votes in her category.

Her selection was subsequently confirmed by the Times Heroes Award Council.

The recognition comes as NIGCOMSAT continues efforts to improve its operations through infrastructure upgrades, expanded digital services and institutional reforms aimed at enhancing service delivery and financial performance.

Since assuming office, Egerton-Idehen has overseen the modernisation of the company’s satellite infrastructure and services. NIGCOMSAT has also introduced training programmes to strengthen the technical capacity of its workforce.
