The equipment was formally presented during a ceremony held at the NIS Headquarters in Abuja on Monday, as both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to improving institutional capacity, professionalism, and service excellence within migration management.
Receiving the equipment, Kemi Nandap, Comptroller-General of Immigration, described the gesture as another milestone in the over two decades of collaboration between the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Nandap said the donation represented a strategic investment in institutional development, noting that it would contribute significantly to strengthening professionalism and promoting a culture of courtesy, empathy, and excellence among immigration officers.
According to her, the support would enhance the capacity of the Hostmanship Unit in training, operational effectiveness, and the wider adoption of the Hostmanship philosophy across the Service.
