Nigeria midfielder Frank Onyeka has completed a permanent transfer to newly promoted Premier League side Coventry City after helping the club secure promotion to the English top flight, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Onyeka initially joined the Sky Blues on loan from Brentford in January and played a key role in Frank Lampard’s side’s Championship-winning campaign.
The midfielder made 14 appearances for Coventry, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
His only goal proved crucial, helping the club to a 3-2 victory over Derby County in April.
The 28-year-old joins Coventry with a wealth of Premier League experience, having made 75 top-flight appearances during his time at Brentford.
