The Lagos State Government is advancing its digital health strategy with the rollout of the SafeHub App, a technology platform designed to make it easier for residents to access HIV-related information, care and support services across the state.
Through the Lagos State AIDS Control Agency (LSACA), the government recently trained agency staff and members of Community Service Communication Centres (CSCCs), formerly known as One Stop Shops (OSS), on the use of the new digital platform.
The SafeHub initiative reflects Lagos State’s growing adoption of technology-driven healthcare solutions aimed at improving service delivery and expanding access to care, the state government says. The state has increasingly deployed digital platforms across sectors, including telemedicine, public service verification systems and other citizen-focused applications.
