Seun Kuti, the last son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, has finally reacted to viral reports that he left Peller’s wedding in anger.
According to the viral reports on social media, Seun angrily left the event after one of the MCs cracked jokes about the controversial ‘Wizkid is bigger than Fela’ debate.
A viral video captured Seun leaving as he was heard saying, “We are in the wrong place.”
The development sparked controversy online with one of the MCs coming out to accuse Seun of having anger problems.
Finally reacting to the reports, Seun Kuti who was confronted by Fuji singer, Malaika at Fela’s Shrine in Lagos, denied leaving the ceremony in anger.
Seun explained that he was at the wedding till evening time, and left for an event at his father’s Shrine around 8:30 pm.
When confronted by Malaika, Seun said; “I left the Peller’s wedding about 8:30 pm.
