govKebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has warned individuals aiding banditry through the provision of information to criminal groups that they will face the full weight of the law.
The warning came on Friday as the governor convened an emergency security meeting at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi following renewed bandit attacks in parts of the state.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders to review the state’s security architecture and develop strategies aimed at tackling emerging threats and preventing further attacks.
Addressing participants, Idris expressed concern over the recent incidents and reassured residents that his government would take decisive measures to curb insecurity across the state.
“Our administration is committed to ensuring that every resident of Kebbi State sleeps with both eyes closed. We will continue to work closely with security agencies and deploy every lawful means necessary to protect lives and property.
